WorkFlow Resources for Exchange 5.5

The Primary documentation for WorkFlow applications in Exchange 5.5 is presented in the MSDN Library.  In the MSDN Subscription you find it at the following location:

Platform SDK --> Messaging and Collaboration Services --> Microsoft Exchange --> Microsoft Exchange Server Programmer's Reference --> Guide --> Microsoft Exchange Server Scripting and Routing --> Microsoft Exchange Server Routing.

The URL for this volumn in the MSDN On-Line library is: http://www.msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/exchserv/html/events_4t47.asp?frame=true

To do WorkFlow applications,  you need to install the Exchange Event Service, the VBScript engine (there if you are using Internet Explorer), the Microsoft Exchange Routing Wizard, and the Role Administrator sample application.  (These later two are found in the directories of the Service Packs for Exchange 5.5.  However, they are not installed by default.)

You will also need the Microsoft Routing Object/Message.  This can be downloaded from the Technical Articles section of the MSDN On-Line library:
http://www.msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?URL=/library/techart/msdn_exchrout.htm

The documentation in the MSDN is reasonably adequate to get the Event Service, the Routing Wizard, Role Administrator application, and the Routing Object/Message installed.  You can easily set up an instance of a routing map and test it out.  However, I have yet to get the Role Administrator to work enough to create a working Role for a routing application.  It is a work in progress and running very slow.
